1 Service Overview & Acceptance
Solan Auto Rickshaw (solanautorikshaw.web.app) provides an on-demand auto rickshaw booking platform connecting commuters, tourists, and residents in Solan, Himachal Pradesh with verified local auto rickshaw driver partners. By using or booking through our website or mobile application, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service.
2 Tariff & Fare Regulation Policy
All auto rickshaw fares generated on our platform adhere strictly to approved Himachal Pradesh State Transport Authority norms for hill terrain:
- Base Fare: ₹30.00 for the first 1.0 kilometer.
- Subsequent Distance Rate: ₹15.00 per kilometer.
- Night Travel Surcharge: +25% applicable between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Waiting Time Fee: ₹30 per 15 minutes of waiting requested by passenger.
3 Booking, Dispatch & Cancellations
Once a ride request is placed, our automated dispatch queue locates the nearest available verified driver in Solan. Customers can track ride status using their Booking ID. Ride requests can be cancelled free of cost prior to driver arrival at pickup location.
4 Privacy Policy & Data Security
We collect minimal contact information (Name, Mobile Number, Pickup/Drop addresses) solely for the purpose of fulfilling your ride request and dispatching auto drivers. Your personal details are protected and are never sold or shared with unauthorized third parties.
5 Driver Verification & Safety Standards
All driver partners operating under the Solan Auto Rickshaw network undergo valid Commercial Driving License verification, HP Vehicle Registration (RC) check, and police background clearance. Passengers are encouraged to report any service or safety feedback via our 24/7 Support Desk.
